A BAND of thoughtful volunteers at a school in Erdington rolled up their sleeves to take part in a major litter-pick at a local beauty spot last weekend in preparation for a right Royal occasion.

More than 60 parents, children and members of staff from Yenton Primary School gave up their time last Saturday (March 5) to participate in a tidying action day at nearby Pype Hayes Park as part of the ‘Clean for The Queen’ initiative.
